Reporting to the Country Manager and supported by a team of 3 employees, you are responsible for all major HR topics: labor law compliance, social relations, recruitment, payroll. You will cover a scope of 500 employees.
MISSIONS :
Supervise HR team
Handle negotiations and work with the unions
Handle relationships with relevant authorities (SARS, UIF, BBBEE…)
Manage the full cycle recruiting for all job openings
Identify training needs for all levels of employees, ensure training is performed and recorded
Handle all Employee Relations
Look after all employment agreements as per company practices and country-legislation
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Manage payroll
Ensure production units adhere to agreed employee levels and labour cost
Manage labour tracker
Ensure compliance with all Newrest corporate guidelines

Profile:
10 years’ experience in a senior human resources role covering all areas of the function
Postgraduate qualification in HR
Strong experience in the ER/IR field
Knowledgeable about HR practices: recruitment, legislation, labour relations, leadership and organisational development
Knowledge of employment practices & compliance

CONTRACT:Permanent contract
LOCATION:Based in our Johannesburg office, will involve domestic travels
