Ensuring that the good genetics are passed through by Selecting the best males.Male selection:Ensures that the best genetics progeny are passed through the supply chain.De-beaking of Males after selection.Grading of females at 4, 8 and 16 weeks. Vaccination:Ensure that birds are properly vaccinated according to the vaccination schedule and check if administered correctly.Ensure vaccination equipment are maintained and calibrated according to SOP's.Post vaccination check and ensure that vaccination was administered properly.Assist the Vaccination Foreman on weekend in checking the vaccinate fridge and record temperature.Ensure that the correct vaccine in the correct quantities are ordered in ample time.Ensure the vaccine are properly stored. Biosecurity and Farm sanitation:Maintaining an effective bio-security programme by practicing good hygiene, vaccination and disease prevention.Make sure that employees adhere to Bio-security procedures.Disinfecting equipment going from one house to the other. Record keeping:Keep the documentation files updated for ISSO Audits (Grading and Vaccination).Keep selection records (selection recap) updated at all times. Staff management:Keep and update daily registers, MDWT's, disciplinary records, training records, review meetings.Create the next generation of GP Selectors through training. Housekeeping:Safely deposition of Medical waste.Make sure vaccination equipment are sanitized before and after every vaccination. SHEQ:Make sure that vaccination equipment is clean and sanitized to prevent re-contamination.Safety principles of vaccination, safe handling of equipment and vaccine.Minimum RequirementsGrade 121-2 years relevant poultry experienceValid Code EB driver's license we be an added advantage
