The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the production process to ensure efficiency and productivity. The Production Supervisor will work closely with other team members to maintain a safe working environment and meet production targets.Responsibilities:Coordinate and supervise the daily mining operations to ensure production goals are metMonitor and manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of projectsInspect equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and address any maintenance issuesImplement and enforce safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuriesTrain and mentor production team members to ensure optimal performancePrepare and maintain production reports and records for management reviewCollaborate with other departments to streamline production processes and improve efficiencyResolve production-related issues and conflicts in a timely and professional mannerStay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve production operationsRequirements:Grade 12 and an Opencast Blasting Certificate ORA relevant Degree and an Opencast Blasting Certificate for Coal Mines2 different types of Opencast Machine LicensesDriver's License2 years of experience as a Digger, Dragline Operator, or Blaster, or completed Graduate Development ProgrammeBenefits:Salary: RK-R1mil per yearFamily Responsibility Leave (if applicable)Please note that correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates for this position.
