Role Headline In this role you will execute governance in Compliance for Lead Country Bundle South Africa ("LCB ZA") and lead the Compliance and Export Control professionals. Responsibilities of the Role ·Execute governance in operational Compliance topics in respective of LC ZA. ·Ensure compliant business conduct in respective LC ZA. ·Fosters development and implementation of practical solutions (together with business) to guarantee compliant business success in the region. ·Ensure advice/guidelines get communicated in the "language" of business. ·Secures continuous knowledge transfer into relevant entities. ·Drives business communication activities to promote Compliance and integrity for the region. ·Represents own Compliance unit towards governmental officials, NGOs etc., regarding Compliance, Collective Action etc. ·Develop and execute future oriented compliance requirements, reflecting Compliance risk management needs in the business context. ·Advise business on content and application of external and internal regulations in a rapidly changing business environment and in the context of newly defined business models, go to market approaches and digitalization. ·Monitor implemented compliance standards and ensured continuous improvement of developed solutions to drive process and cost efficiency. ·Contribute to the development of the compliance organization in the sense of vision 2020+ and in the continuous improvement of the Compliance system incl. processes and tools. ·Develop and drive future-oriented collaboration models; collaborate with the global expert teams in Compliance to foster innovation across the organisation. ·Lead, develop, and coach the Compliance team members to fulfil their assigned responsibilities. ·Manage Stakeholder relationships (internal and external) Qualifications and Experience ·A minimum of 8 + years' experience in operating business responsibility, or 10 years' experience in personnel and legal matters (specialist) ·Legal, Business Management or equivalent tertiary qualification ·Good understanding of the different businesses within the region ·Knowledge of the regulatory framework for sub-Saharan Africa. ·Proven leadership skills, self-driven change manager, excellent communicator, trusted leader, and well organised ·Intercultural experience, that is the ability to work with international compliance network and senior management in business. ·Broad understanding of different business models, go to market approaches and business processes including support functions (at least 4-5 years of Siemens experience) ·Proven change management record and ability to respond quickly to Innovations and new developments.
