Education and experience required
Matric
BSc in Design, Computer or Diploma Design (or a degree in communication / design / fine art etc. that shows competent visual skills).
Minimum of 5 years experience
interviews, focus groups, contextual inquiry, and usability testing
Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Adobe XD, InVision, Sketch, Figma)
You will be meeting creative directors, clients or account managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job. Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and designers. Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps. Build page navigation buttons and search fields. Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and would look like. Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders. Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness). Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback. Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images. Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role. A sound knowledge of the relevant structures and processes in the agency. Excellent computer skills. Creative digital agency background, Proficiencies, Ideation and Foundation in UX/UI
