Purpose of the Role: In the role of UX Designer, you will report directly to the Software Engineering Manager, and you'll ensure that the user experience for individuals using websites or applications is as efficient and satisfying as possible. In this role, the UX Designer will combine interfaces and workflows to enhance the overall user experience. You'll work collaboratively with the Product & Usability Specialist and the wider business to ensure that products meet client needs.
Duties include, but not limited to: Analyse business requirements and translate those into user flows, user journeys, wireframes, storyboards mock-ups, sitemaps and information architecture charts that lead to intuitive user experiencesDefine the right interaction model and evaluate its successWork with UI designers to implement attractive designsWork on cross-platform applications to develop user experiences covering mobile phones, tablets and computers.Together with the Product and Usability Specialist, plan and conduct remote and on-site user research and usability testing with real users to ensure the end-product design provides users with the optimum experience in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, and engagementStay up to date with competitor products and industry trendsCollaborate with other team members and stakeholders and ensure design standards, guidelines and best practices are adhered to within the Group This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
