WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT ON A TYPICAL DAY: Update Tax Year End processes and timeously communicate changes to Associates (including training) Conduct refresher and skills training for current associates on all aspects of payroll in order to maintain operating standards Manage training academy for new associates in order to create a talent pool within the organisation Plan, prepare and conduct annual assessments for Associates in order to ensure knowledge is kept current Develop tests and assess candidates against specified job criteria for purposes of recruitment and selection Keep abreast of payroll best practices and legislation to inform content creation and updates. Process a number of payrolls in order to identify system issues and understand the day-to-day challenges that Associates experience thereby informing the development and execution of training interventions Coach new Associates through constant monitoring and evaluation during probation period TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: A finance (payroll) / human resource qualification or experience 5+ years payroll (preferable Sage300 and/or VIP Premier) or HRIS experience 3+ years training and facilitation experience Comprehensive knowledge of SA payroll tax legislation Basic Knowledge of SA labour legislation Facilitation and Training Skills Advanced Communication Skills Confident Emotional Intelligence BONUS POINTS FOR THESE: Experience in a Payroll Outsourcing environment will be advantageous Knowledge of South African payroll tax legislation will be advantageous YOU'LL LOVE WORKING HERE BECAUSE YOU CAN: Be yourself in a culture that values equity, inclusion, and belonging and creates a safe space for diverse perspectives and insights Belong by joining one of nine Business Resource Groups where you can connect globally with networks and allies who share common interests and experiences Grow your career in an agile, dynamic environment with plenty of opportunities to progress Continuously learn through ongoing training, development, and mentorship opportunities Be your healthiest.
