Supply Chain Director

Our client is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Director to lead and optimize our national distribution network. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of products to our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain complexities, coupled with a proven track record of success in driving operational excellence.Responsibilities:Develop and implement a national supply chain strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.Lead and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.Oversee supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure best pricing and service levels.Implement and leverage data analytics to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and minimize overall supply chain costs.Manage a team of supply chain professionals, providing coaching and mentorship to ensure high performance.Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Finance).Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.Develop and manage the supply chain budget.Key Skills:Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and best practices in supply chain management.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).Minimum 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within a fast-paced supply chain environment.Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies.Ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-pressure environment.Experience managing and optimizing a national distribution network.Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., WMS, TMS).#J-18808-Ljbffr
