Hands-on experience with WordPress Solid time-management skills Self management of project, time lines, remote work culture Bachelors Degree in Politics, Communications, Journalism or relevant field English Literature Duties: Write and edit copy on data-driven topics such as the economy, foreign relations, and politics. Proven work experience as a Senior Copywriter, Product Copywriter or similar role Optimize existing page copy for SEO performance. Research new topics and create a long-term content plan. Manage workflow of other team members including the data team. Periodically check existing content for required updates. Work in conjunction with other teams such as design and development to enable improvements in overall site performance. Work towards predetermined goals for website sessions and pageviews.
