ENVIRONMENT:

An innovative Solutions & Systems Integration Specialist in Joburg seeks a strategic-thinking Senior Account Manager with 8 – 10 Years’ experience in the Public Sector Sales environment that has technological complexity and is customer care / customer experience intensive. You must also possess a Bachelor’s Degree in IT/ Computer Science or related field, have the ability to market and close the sale of solutions, analytical skills to judge the current market and the competition to set accurate pricing & strong negotiation skills to secure accounts at a profit.
DUTIES:
Deliver on targeted Revenue and Gross Profit values.
Develop on a continuous basis a pipeline of prospects that will feed into the overall pipeline value of the business and meticulously update and progress pipeline opportunities to purchase orders.
Thorough understanding of Public Sector and its associated technological and business requirements.
Know, understand and map focused solutions to customer requirements.
Accurate reporting of activities by populating the NCRM system on a daily basis with relevant customer data and interaction.
Keep abreast of technological changes and how it influences the engagement with Public Sector.
Take the lead and drive successful customer engagements coupled with engagement from the various support teams and back-office processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
8 – 10 Years’ Senior Account Management experience in Public Sector Sales environment that has technological complexity and is customer care / customer experience intensive.
Significant understandings of customer need satisfaction in a high tech. environment essential.
Must be an expert in the public sector market.
Ability to market and close the sale of solutions.
Negotiation skills to secure accounts at a profit.
Interpersonal skills to communicate with customers over the phone and in face-to-face meetings.
Analytical skills to judge the current market and the competition to set accurate pricing.

A good communicator and an original thinker that can offer ideas about generating new sales and effectively deal with people to maintain customer satisfaction.
