- £50,000 Remote / 1-2 days in Newcastle a month A leading SaaS digital agency which provide niche cloud-based software solutions, have an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level to Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join their team, which will be based remotely.

The Ruby on Rails developer will have proven commercial experience working throughout the whole development life cycle within a fast-paced environment, working across both small and large scale projects.

The successful Ruby on Rails developer will have excellent knowledge of creating web applications, in line with security practices, and is encouraged to take ownership when it comes to best practices.

Essential Skills: At least 3 years commercial experience Working to agreed timescales and budgets Excellent problem-solving skills Writing well designed, testable code at an excellent standard Relational databases, PostgreSQL Excellent knowledge of Ruby and Ruby on Rails frameworks MVC techniques Version controls, Git Experience with Unit Testing Desirable: Good front end skills for updating UI platforms Vue.js API’s Cucumber Pair programming experience Cloud based experience In return, my client is offering a great benefits package, including but not limited to, a relaxed working environment, government pension scheme and 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) as well as remote working.
