Production Coordinator

The Production Coordinator ensures the meticulous planning of production requirements in collaboration with each sector within Operations to guarantee the timely and complete fulfilment of orders for both internal and external customers. Demonstrate personal dedication to reaching monthly billing targets and efficiently processing customer expedited orders. Education:High School Diploma.Industrial Engineering qualification or relevant experience is advantageous.Project management qualification or relevant experience is advantageous.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.Familiarity with Syspro or SAP ERP is advantageous.Valid drivers license.Preferably 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Job Experience & Skills Required:Spearhead the planning process within the designated area of responsibility, fostering cross-functional agreement on demand plans and inventory strategies to support customer service and revenue goals.Keep all planning tools, reports, and systems up-to-date with accuracy and timeliness.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the production realm to ensure seamless supply to customers.Provide regular updates to Operations and Sales teams regarding changes in order statuses and delivery dates.Detect bottlenecks in the production environment, propose or implement preventive measures, and escalate to management when necessary.Maintain consistent communication with the Planning group, Leads, Production Managers, and Expeditors on a daily basis.Coordinate the preparation of production schedules and material orders.Stay informed on sales forecasts to determine short- and medium-term production resource requirements.Oversee the execution of sales orders and ensure alignment of schedules and resources across production departments according to specified time-frames.Foster positive relationships within the Operations environment to sustain a harmonious and proactive work atmosphere.Develop and track production metrics.Accommodate any reasonable requests from management.
