Permanent in-house position with basic salary and 13 th Cheque. A Company/Client - leader within the Engineering sector; is seeking to employ an Afrikaans and English-speaking Procurement Administrator with a passion for supply chain management and logistics to join their team based at their Pretoria (Moot area) branch. Responsibilities: · Evaluating suppliers, maintaining relationships, approving products, and ensuring the cost-effective procurement of materials, parts, or goods. · Create and maintain relationships with vendors/suppliers. · Estimate and establish budgets for purchases. · Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment. · Review all vendors and suppliers. · Maintain purchase records and other important data. · Negotiate pricing and supply contracts. · Ensure that the products and supplies meet quality standards. · Work with team members to complete duties as needed. · Ensure that products are delivered on time. Requirements: · Matric essential · At least 2 years of relevant procurement admin working experience · Building, Construction, or Engineering industry exposure advantageous · Proficient in MS Excel · Ability to negotiate contracts and to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently · Excellent communication skills · Accurate attention to detail · Goal-oriented, organized team player · Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels
