Planner (POS24102)R 30 000 to R 35 000 per month plus benefitsJohannesburg to SouthAutomotive / Manufacturing experience with MRP and BOMs is essential.PURPOSE OF THE JOBThe timely planning, scheduling, and expediting (internal & external) of all OE orders thus ensuring customer expectations are met.REQUIREMENTS:Diploma or Degree in Logistics / Planning / Supply Chain Management preferred.2 to 4 years Production Planning/Manufacturing experienceUnderstand Load SchedulingExcellent communication skillsGood computer literacy in Syspro and MS OfficeAutomotive / Manufacturing experience with MRP and BOMs is essential.KEY RESULT and PERFORMANCE AREASOverseeing general functions of the departmentAnalysing and scheduling factory orders as per customer requirements and available capacityMaterial planning as per MPS (Master Production Schedule), OE parts allocations and the oversee of the MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) module.Scheduling of new orders, rescheduling and co-ordinating Production and Dispatch for deliveriesCommunicating, updating, and maintaining of MDSSystem Hygiene and Maintenance (i.e. Works Orders)Monthly Management ReportSponsor production meetings.Supervise Works order processing administrator.Continuous improvement of planning and production process flow.ADDITIONAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITYAssist with any related ad hoc functions where/when requested by a manager.Ensuring internal & external customers are serviced effectively.Fostering a good and helpful working relationship with all employeesWorking with designated team members to achieve organisational and department goals and objectives.Closing Date: 10 April 2024
