In this position, you will form part of the Mass Foundation Cluster which is one of the largest customer-facing business segments in Old Mutual. This role is responsible for delivery of product to the select target market segments, based upon a defined customer value proposition. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through other managers and their teams (manages service delivery through layers), over periods of 1 to 2 years. This role will take on accountability for the MFC product requirements, related to Long Term Insurance, Short Term insurance, Health solutions and Rewards, whilst also influencing the Banking and Lending Product development. Development of segment product strategy; principles and distribution overlay Managing contracting and delivery of product solutions with respective product providers Acts as sponsor/business owner on strategic projects. Continuous review/interpretation of competitive and market forces with associated amendments to the MFC product proposition Explore bundled/packaged solutions that will provide MFC with a competitive advantage Responsible for reporting on and monitoring product performance Builds constructive relations with the MFC Distribution stakeholders as well as other components of the MFC value chain, including management of any related service level agreements. Builds constructive relations with other components of the OMEM value stream (e.g. Customer Solutions; iWYZE, GMC, IT, CC) and ensures proper contracting of their services. Ensures that MFC is efficiently and effectively responding to legislated and board-level governance on product matters (e.g. Market Conduct, TCF response, and evidence), including the necessary control systems and structures Manage, in conjunction with OML Customer Solutions, any product-related risks that may emerge as a result of regulation, systems, or any other factor Manage a team/Accountable for others' time, task, and output quality. Requirements University degree plus relevant vocational experience At least 10 years of financial services experience 5 years of senior management experience Skills
