Designer / Draughtsman (Mineral Processing)

With a commitment to innovation and excellence, they offer an environment where creativity flourishes, and professional growth is nurtured.Job Experience:Minimum 5 years experience in a design office environment, with a focus on the mining industry and designing mining equipment such as conveyors, chutes, and thickeners.Completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting, or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and training.Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D design software, including Revit, Advance Steel, Inventor, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.Experience working on processing plants will be advantageous.Responsibilities:Utilize CAD software to support engineers and project managers by preparing concepts, final models, plant layouts, and detail drawings.Draft designs across multiple disciplines, including Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation.Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, and complex drawings.Incorporate feedback from engineers and project managers to make adjustments to drawings and designs.Collaborate with the design team to review drawings and ensure adherence to project requirements.Ensure final drawings align with approved designs and comply with safety regulations.Oversee fabrication of steel components, conducting QC inspections to ensure compliance with drawings.Assist in developing preliminary project timelines and bills of materials for project costing.Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, including the Mine Health and Safety Act.If you're ready to take on exciting challenges and contribute to innovative projects in the mining industry, we invite you to apply.Note:We appreciate all applications; however, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
