Are you passionate about making a real difference in your nursing career? We would like to invite you to gain valuable experience as a specialist nurse supporting lung cancer patients and their families from diagnosis, through treatment and during follow up.
We are seeking to appoint a nurse to join our lung cancer CNS team. There is both full-time and part-time hours available.
You will be working in a well established team as an important and highly valued member of the Multidisciplinary Cancer Team.
The role involves managing and maintaining a caseload of lung cancer patients, undertaking nurse-led clinics: face to face, telephone and follow-up of patients. A responsibility of the role will be to provide specialist information, support, advice and education to the patient and their family (in-patients and out-patients) from diagnosis and throughout the whole cancer pathway on treatment/management of their cancer.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurses who already possess or are working towards non-medical prescribing. You should have evidence of significant post registration professional practice experience to undertake and fulfil the key areas for this post.
