Overview Job Title: Junior Store BuyerLocation: Durban, South AfricaHire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our client's team as a Junior Store Buyer in their Durban store. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the selection and purchasing of merchandise for our client's retail store to ensure that they have the right products available to meet customer demand and drive sales.Responsibilities: Assist senior buyers in researching and identifying new products or suppliersAnalyze sales data and trends to make informed purchasing decisionsNegotiate with suppliers on pricing, terms, and delivery schedulesPlace purchase orders and track shipments to ensure on-time deliveryMonitor inventory levels and work with the store manager to maintain optimal stock levelsWork closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies for merchandiseHandle any product returns or quality issues in a timely mannerStay current on industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure we remain competitive in the market Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field1-2 years of experience in retail buying or merchandisingStrong analytical and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectivelyProficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systemsKnowledge of the retail industry and current market trendsValid driver's license and reliable transportation Benefits: Salary: negotiableFamily Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Training & DevelopmentPaid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable)  Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
