Junior - Mid Level Graphic Designer

What's the role?
You will be responsible for:
• Design for packaging and promotional resources; including mock ups, presentations, DTP, catalogue creation, flyer design, take product pictures, deep etch and retouch for print, repro your work for print and more.
• You will be expected to problem solve and be self-starting.
• You will need to self-monitor times, check your own work and maintaining consistency
• You will be expected to work quickly
• You will need to be able to read die lines and be able to adjust dies according to new sizes
• You absolutely must understand print process and different methods of printing onto various finishes, transfers, colour separation, print preparation and repro.

Boxes to tick…
Matric
Degree, diploma or equivalent in design
One to two years' proven working experience within studio or agency within packaging, presentations and layout (DTP)
Understanding of repro for print
Understanding of best practice for print
Ability to read dielines and amend dies as needed
Portfolio of packaging work
Working knowledge of Adobe Suite
Photography knowledge
