Job DescriptionPurpose
Ensure that importation and exportation of goods is well managed, follow-up is done properly, daily reports and extensive knowledge of logistics.
Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Planning Management
Complete knowledge of logistic and in coordination with international logistics counterparts
Follow-up and coordinates from start to end process of import and export till delivery at warehouse
Ensure that quality of service is provided that will meet the required quality
Maintain daily status report and share with concerned team members on daily basis
Calculate container load and make weekly status report to track shipment
Domestic transportation coordination and do documentation verification
Implement a solid, accurate short and long-term production planning process, strategy and ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet sales and marketing forecasts for finished goods
Analyze demand requirements, prepare documents needed for production and work with other stakeholders to achieve target of sales requirements
Prepare, report and communicate production status reports for production progress and work in process to ensure company objectives are achieved
Work closely and coordinate with freight forwarders and warehouse to ensure compliance to customers, overseas and local logistics requirements
Monitor and report manufacturing KPI?s in line with company objectives (HQ, RHQ)
Organize and manage daily/weekly meetings with subsidiaries
Handle Supply Chain Management, monitor the process between production and sales subsidiaries
Optimise reworks, containers and truck loads for export shipments
Contribute to various New Product Development projects (NPI)
Keeping track with the trends affecting business both locally and internationally
Policies and procedures
Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements
Meet/exceed average production standards.
System Monitoring
GERP system management
Weekly & SCM Dashboard (KPI)
Inventory control systematically and physically
Investigate stock variances and update the system
Monitor inventory control systematically
MRP system maintenance
House Keeping
Ensure proper housekeeping in the area
Ensure workplace is a safe environment to ensure compliance
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Line Manager

Qualifications and Experience
Grade 12
Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management and additional education will an added advantage
2 ? 5 years related experience
Strong understanding of demand planning process
Fundamentals of Production and Materials Management
Good knowledge in import and export especially international and warehouse procedures.
Proven track record in the import and export knowledge
MS Office and Excel at an advanced level
Ability to use database for recording and reporting
PowerPoint (including good presentation skills)Required Competencies
