We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.Job Purpose:Administration of compensation, benefits, employment and employee relations programsParticipates in the development and implementation of strategic and business plans in partnership with department headsDirects training and development programsManages employee services and communicationsConsults with department heads on the development and implementation of human resources policies and programs.Creation of people strategy, coaching & significant influence of senior leadership, fostering of business partnering, managing & directing team's execution capabilities.Duties include leading and directing the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department. Key Performance Areas include (but not limited to):Organisation Development & TransformationTalent, including recruitment & selectionHR direction and interface with PayrollLearning & DevelopmentEmployee relationsPerformance managementQualifications: Industrial Psychology and/or Human Resources degree or equivalent Experience: Minimum of 10 years post qualification commercial experience, including at least 2 years at a senior management level with budget accountability Demonstrable experience in most Key Performance Areas listed STRONG HR manager experience, in retail or operational industry The HR Manager is expected to be both hands on and provide strategic direction Must have led a team and dept/function Personal Attributes: ?Confidence and Decisiveness Pro-Activity Adhering to Principles and Values Relating and Networking Persuading and Influencing Presenting and Communicating Information Writing and Reporting Applying Professional / Specialist / Technical Expertise Problem Analysis and Judgment Planning and Organising Quality and Detail Orientation
