About The Role
Role: HR Operations Team Leader Leading a small HR Operations team which is focussed on ensuring outstanding service to the talented and committed people across the Firm, you will manage the advice and support given across the full lifecycle of HR. With an expert eye for streamlining, simplifying and improving administrative processes, you will use your significant Excel and HRIS knowledge to redesign key parts of our HR systems. This is a rare opportunity to design operations from bottom up, in an environment that embraces change. Key Responsibilities: HR Operations: Lifecycle Management: Oversee operational processes, including onboarding, HR policies, people system maintenance, benefits administration, payroll, and contract changes.Payroll policy & processing: Administration of the provision of changes to payroll, related to contractual and/or policy entitlementsAnnual Planning: Lead the execution of annual plans, encompassing appraisals, bonus distribution, reward processes, and benefits renewals.Process Improvement: Revamp and streamline operational processes and procedures, ensuring their alignment with organizational goals and making continuous improvements.Employee Experience: Enhance employee experience through simplification and strategic utilization of technology, while staying attuned to the needs of the workforce.Team Management: Juggle competing priorities, proactively manage team capacity, and lead a small administration team.Systems & Data Analytics: Process Automation: Drive improvements in HRIS, aiming to reduce manual processes and enhance efficiency in a commercially sensitive manner.Data Utilization: Utilize internaldata supporting data-driven decision-making within the organization.Analysis & Reporting: Analyze figures related to staff turnover, cost per hire, Gender Pay reporting, Reward & Benefits: Compensation Management: Administer bonus schemes and communicate annual pay review processes effectively.Benefits Administration: Manage the administration of employee benefitsMiscellaneous: Legal Compliance: Ensure legal compliance in all HR activities, staying informed about updated legislation.Performance Culture: Champion a performance culture, continually reviewing productivity, and fostering the development of the team.Management Qualities: Demonstrate drive, decisiveness, and resilience in executing responsibilities. About You
Previous Experience: Problem Solving:Ability to solve complex problems and navigate between detailed tasks and strategic objectives.Credibility:Establish credibility within the organization.Commercial Acumen:Demonstrate a strong understanding of commercial principles, with the ability to articulate data finding in a succinct reporting fashion.Data & Systems:Solid IT skills, able to confidently manipulate data and navigate and optimise Excel.Detail Orientated:Able to analyse and scrutinise large data sets and question abnormalities.Team Development:Comfortable in developing team members and fostering a collaborative environment.Employment Law:knowledge of employment law and proven experience applying updated legislation in various HR situations.Passion for People:Evident passion for working with people beyond the confines of the job description.Communication Skills:Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.Organizational Skills:Proven organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.Adaptability:Thrive in an environment of constant change.
