As Field Contractor Specialist (Harvest Coordinator) you will be responsible for the liaison between the production area and the on-site supervision to improve cost, safety/environmental, and services such as wet and dry harvesting, cutting, and spraying of productions. Coordinates cost and/or capital contracting work. Monitors on-going contractor activities in the field and auditing all field safety programs.
You Will Be Part of Growing Team Ensure high quality, reliable and timely supply is delivered to the facility.
Your Challenge: Ensure Field Safety and environment standards are implemented. Coordinate cost and contracts of transporters and vendors with procurement Monitor contractor activities, cutting, spraying, and harvesting. Maintenance on machines are up to date and spare parts are ordered on time. Yearly stock take and conduct audits. Liaison between Production team and Harvest contractor to ensure quality product are delivered. Key Stakeholders and Interactions: Harvest contactor, Field Agronomist, Production lead, safety coordinator and Rosslyn team
Location: Rosslyn (Pretoria) and need to travel to production regions when harvesting

Qualifications To Grow What Matters, You Will Need Degree in Agricultural Sciences or equivalent 3-5 years working with farm equipment (mechanical) and safety and Regulations. A valid driver License. Good communication skills and need to be bilingual. Strong computer skills and ability to work in excel, power point, outlook, and word. Ability to work as part of the team or independently based on job assignment. Ensure equipment is properly maintained to enable manufacture of high-quality product. Create a safety-first work environment to safeguard employees. Must be willing to work long hours from home. Who Are We Looking For?
