Located amidst the breathtaking beauty of Queenstown, our ice bar is a remarkable attraction that transports visitors into a magical winter wonderland. From the moment our guests step inside, they are immersed in an enchanting world of beautlifiully carved ice sculptures, and sub-zero temperatures. As a Duty Manager, you will play an integral role in helping the Site Manager to lead the team, keeping standards high and ensuring every guest has an unforgettabel time.
Key Responsibilities: Warmly greet and welcome guests, providing exceptional customer service as they enter the ice bar.Assist guests with putting on warm clothing, including jackets and gloves, to ensure their comfort in sub-zero temperatures.Educate guests about the ice bar experience, highlighting the unique features and the captivating ice sculptures created by talented artists.Serve a variety of ice-cold beverages in specially crafted ice glasses, showcasing your bartending skills while engaging with guests.Monitor and manage guest flow, ensuring everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience while adhering to health and safety guidelines.Manage the Shift as the Manager on Duty, adhering to Hospit responibility and Liquor licensing, Collaborate closely with the site manager to ensure all communication is correctly relayed ot the team.
Requirements: Passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences.Previous leader or Duty Management experience.LCQ or Managers certificate (or equivalant) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and remain calm under pressure.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Bartending or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
