Value Proposition Shoprite Group, Africa's largest retailer, is looking for a Location Management Coordinator to join its team. Purpose The purpose of the Location Management Coordinator role is to ensure that all group retail outlets of Shoprite Group brands are accurately represented on Google, Bing and Apple for our customers to find. The role will be responsible for capturing store data and photography, and the improvement of the quality of store data recorded. Role Description As a Location Management Coordinator, you will look after store information for almost all group retail outlets on Google, Bing and Apple. This will include monitoring, updating and recording store data and photographs. You will be responsible for maintaining store data on Google, Bing and Apple along with ensuring that store information is formatted correctly and in line with Shoprite Group's guidelines. You will work closely with the Operations team to ensure that stores are accurately represented and to enhance the customer experience by providing important store information like opening hours, phone number, and physical location. Your role will also entail the compiling of monthly reports to monitor the quality of the store data and performance data of store locations. Responsibilities Capture and maintain accurate store data (including opening hours, phone numbers, physical location, photos) of all Shoprite Group retail outlets on Google, Bing and Apple, including new stores on opening day Work with the Operations team to ensure accurate representation of stores, to attract and retain customers Monitor and track all store data and photos on Google, Bing and Apple to ensure accuracy and quality, and ensure we employ the most recent and effective SEO strategies Evaluate and improve the quality of store data recorded on Google, Bing and Apple to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness Ensure store information is correctly formatted and in line with Shoprite Group's guidelines Monitor online reviews and ratings and notify management of any negative reviews Provide regular reports and analysis to management on store data and photography, as well as analytical data such as store profile views, clicks to web, direction requests and calls to store Monitor and report on error reports and alerts received Action requests to reinstate any suspended store profiles Action the correction of duplicated store profiles Actioning of verification requirements Qualifications and Experience A matric certificate Proven experience in managing profiles using Google Business Profile Manager (formerly known as Google My Business) Experience using online software platforms or tools A good understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and customer experience management Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and Teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Analytical thinker, methodical, pays attention to detail Strong at self-management to ensure work/life balance, especially in a hybrid work environment Experience in transforming data into visual representations such as graphs, charts and motion charts Our Group is committed to creating, embracing, and preserving a diverse workplace that values the unique talents, perspectives, backgrounds, and abilities that enrich our organisation.
