Job DescriptionAs the Head of Marketing Data and Insights at Olympus, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making processes within the Demand Management function. Reporting directly to the Head of Demand Management, you will be responsible for leading a team of data scientists, analysts and business intelligence to manage our marketing data estate, extract actionable insights from marketing data, optimize campaigns, and enhance customer engagement strategies.KEY RESULT AREAS Develop and execute Olympus' marketing data strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and marketing goals. Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of marketing data from various sources, including customer interactions, digital and phygital channels, customer outcomes and market research. Manage the martech data stack, including the implementation, and integration of tools and platforms to support data collection, analysis, and campaign execution. Utilize advanced analytics techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization across marketing campaigns and initiatives. Implement A/B testing methodologies to measure campaign effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Performance Marketing, Brand, Phygital Marketing, Onboarding, Credit Risk and CX, to integrate data-driven insights into decision-making processes. Design and implement robust measurement frameworks and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and drive continuous improvement. Develop a deep understanding of the commercial levers within digital marketing. Use this understanding to inform data-driven decision-making processes and optimize marketing strategies for maximum ROI and business impact. Drive the development and maintenance of marketing dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time visibility into key performance metrics. dentify and prioritize data requirements for marketing initiatives, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing analytics, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our data capabilities. Mentor and develop a high-performing team of data analysts and insights specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and excellence. ROLE REQUIREMENTS Post graduate degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. 10 years' experience in marketing analytics, data-driven decision-making, and digital marketing preferably within the financial services industry, and banking in particular. 3 Years' experience in a leadership role within an analytics environment. Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Python, R, or similar languages. Demonstrated expertise in data visualization tools such as Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. · Experience in AWS native technologies Experience with customer data platforms, marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital analytics tools. Comprehensive understanding of marketing technology (martech) landscape, including experience managing martech stacks and integrating various platforms. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences. Strong leadership capabilities, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams. Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business outcomes through data-driven marketing strategies. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities. Experience operating within an agile environment would be advantageous.
