Shotover Jet & Dart River Adventures are iconic Queenstown and Glenorchy based attractions, that takes visitors on breath-taking jet boat rides. The Shotover Jet offers excitement and incredible scenery, the 25-minute Jet boat ride combines 360° spins and speed with a beautiful river environment. Where Dart River takes you on an unforgettable 2-hour journey along the braided, glacier-fed Dart River from Glenorchy.
This role will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer service experience to our manuhiri and will include duties such as making reservations, retail sales and photography.
You will have high attention to detail, patience and be able use your initiative to provide a truly epic experience to our manuhiri from all over New Zealand and the rest of the world. You will be someone who is truly passionate about helping and engaging with others to provide that experience.
This customer service role is primarily based at Shotover Jet in Queenstown, with some shifts at Dart River Adventures in Glenorchy (free transport is provided from Queenstown).
We're after people who:
Can impress our manuhiri with exceptional customer service skills (ideally with previous experience in customer service)Have safety at the heart of everything they doAre physically fit and mentally alertWork well in a team and keep cool under pressureCan work shifts on weekdays, weekends, and public holidaysFull drivers' licence and P-Endorsement (or ability to attain one) preferred Are eager to learn about Ngai Tahu culture and storiesEnjoy the outdoorsAre eager to learn and correctly pronounce reo Maori names and termsSuccessful applicants will have a strong affinity for the needs and aspirations of our Ngai Tahu whanui. Alongside this, you will have an understanding of, or an eagerness to learn and engage with our Ngai Tahu values. Ka tika!
