Job Description: Deliver a professional service to internal customers and ensure that the required items are available on time and at the optimum priceEnsure that an efficient buying service is rendered at all timesExpediting outstanding/overdue ordersIdentify new and alternative suppliers and productsUpdate, monitor and manage stock levelsEnsure that all administrative systems are up to date and conform to policiesEnsure a safe and healthy work environmentJob Requirements: Grade 12Diploma in purchasingMinimum 3 years experience in Buying, or proven purchasing experience, preferably within an engineering or manufacturing environmentAbility to add value, reduce costs and make business improvementsContract management and supplier experienceStrong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes and components and supply chain managementHigh ERP system acumenProficiency in MS OfficeAdvanced Excel skills
