POSITION DETAILS Required to ensure that no defects leave his repair area to the next as well as to escalate to the area Team Leader & Process coach all recurring defects sent to his area from base departmentUnderstand the PTSUnderstand and interpret fault codeRepair defects before they leave your zoneCapture on QLS all repair bound visible defects and parts shortages not on campaignMaintain FTT above 95%Communicate & escalate all recurring defects from stations in your zone.Maintain the toolbox & tools in good conditionMaintain the QLS, Inspection gauges & any inspection/repair electronic device in good conditionAccount for poor repairs from your zoneMaintain Safety measures of tool related concernsMaintain the Inspection/Repair station in a good 5S standardAlways maintain good PPE practices Ensure good end of shift reporting out & proper shift handoverPERFORMANCE MEASURES/ SUCCESS CRITERIA Ownership – required to hold themselves accountable and have good workmanship & IntegrityDisciplined – required to focus on report writing Consistency – required to do the job right every timeTeam player – willing to support and give improvement ideasGood time keeping – always on time in station before start-upCommunication (written) – Ability to write a clear and detailed report on torque concerns Communication (verbal) – Ability to express themselves fluentlyKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES (KSA) Knowledge of PTS, Schematics and Wiring diagrams knowledge of VCM 3 AND ECATS MACHINES Knowledge of QLSKnowledge of approved Ford repair standardsComputer literacy Analytical problem-solving skill  QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE Minimum N3(strictly auto electrician)Trade Test Certificate (Automotive Electrician) Minimum of 3 years' experience within the fieldDriver's license
