Windmeul Cellar , located on the Northern slopes of Paarl Mountain in the heart of the Winelands, is renowned for creating wines of distinction. This is an ideal position for a professional to further his/her career as Winemaker by joining Windmeul's dynamic production team. The incumbent will be responsible for the following: Harvesting and winemaking Quality control Stock management Personnel management Maintenance and housekeeping Record keeping and administration Wine tasting and external liaison Health & Safety and accreditations Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification (degree or diploma in Viticulture and Oenology or similar qualification) Proven experience in wine industry (3-5 years) Mechanical and technical knowledge of winemaking machinery and equipment Well-developed wine tasting skills Good computer skills (Wine MS) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Afrikaans and English) Passion and commitment for producing quality wine Detail orientated Ability to perform well in both a team context and individually
