Ux/Ui Designer

Requirements:5+ years' experience of UX|UI design experience, with at least some of this working in a B2C or C2C online businessA Relevant Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution is a plus [bonus]Fluency in English is a mustExpertise in standard UX|UI software such as Figma and MiroExtensive experience in using user-centered design (UCD) best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive designExtensive experience in using and interpreting Google's Material Design principles and iOS's Human Interface GuidelinesAdapt to handling and analyzing both quantitative and qualitative dataAbility to iterate design solutions efficiently and intelligentlyAbility to communicate processes, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectivelyAbility to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidanceBe passionate about all things UX, UI, and other areas of design and innovationResearch and showcase knowledge of the industry's latest trends and technologiesBonus points if you can speak/write one of the more popular languages across Africa (e.g., French)Experience planning and conducting user research in a variety of formats and settings e.g., focus groups, surveys, and remote and in-person usability testingResponsibilities:Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences, and are optimized for a wide range of devices and interfacesTake a user-centred design approach and rapidly test and iterateCollaborate with Product Designers throughout the design processKnowledge of feature-for-feature competitive analysis and world-class standards for the Super App industryDevelop UI mock-ups and prototypes for stakeholder reviewsIllustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemapDesign graphic user interface elements for Mobile (Android, iOS) and Web applicationsConduct layout adjustments based on user/team feedbackWork closely with the UX Research team to identify research questionsHelping to plan and conduct user research and competitor analysisHelp with user stories, personas, and storyboard
