Vacancy DetailsEmployer:Plennegy (Pty) Ltd Introduction:THE ABOVE POSITION HAS BECOME AVAILABLE AT TRITON EXPRESS DURBAN, REPORTING TO THE GROUP IT MANAGERDescription:RESPONSIBILITIES:Creating and modifying reports and report templates using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)Collecting, analyzing, and converting complex raw data and comprehensive information into written reports that are easy for the user or non-technical employees to understandDesigning, building, testing, and generating reports utilizing information databasesReviewing, revising formats, and analysing data to ensure information meets user needsPresenting information or data in an easy-to-understand manner to enhance communication between the company and its customers or between the different departmentsMaintenance of reports in response to individual and/or business unit requestsUsing relevant tools to develop the right solution to meet customer data needsCollaborating closely with technical support, database administrators, software developers, and other business groupsRequirements:REQUIREMENTS:MatricMinimum 3 years demonstrated experience of SQL including utilizing views, tables and stored procedures for reporting purposesSound knowledge of Excel and SQL SSRS reporting design and structureAbility to translate user requirements into functional & design specificationsExperience consolidating Data from multiple sources into Excel into a user friendly formatAbility to write Custom Functions in ExcelExposure to other programming languages and environments like Visual Basic, C# and .NetCertifications in SQL and working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI beneficial
