Are you equipped to equip others? If you have a passion for developing others and unlocking their potential, you might be interested in becoming our client's new Training Officer for Opencast mining. Requirements:Relevant Tertiary QualificationOpencast Blasting Certificate for Coal MinesAssessor CertificateAt least 5 years' experience in the mining industry of which 2 years must be in a Training Officer/Assistant roleResponsibilities:Consolidating the training needs from the Complexes in the area of responsibility to enable the formulation of the annual training plan and providing input into the Annual Training Plan and Workplace Skills PlanEnsure that course schedules in area of responsibility are developed, loaded, published and available for bookings to be scheduled on SAP and that training materials and assessments are prepared for each training invention Ensure that a fixed asset register is maintained, and that equipment, tools and material used in training are properly maintained and availableOngoing engagement with internal stakeholders on their needs and keeping up with external development within the fieldEngaging and Liaising with Safety Discipline Supervisors, Middle Management and Development Committee Members to ensure that training materials are reviewedEnsure that materials, assessment guides, and tests are aligned with the company/QMS/SETA/QCTO requirementsEnsuring that pre-training assessments, training delivery assessments and moderation are conducted in line with internal proceduresFor more information, contact the mining team at
