National Hospitality Company based in Airport Industria, Cape Town offers an ideal opportunity to an experienced Training Manager. The Training Manager will manage and coordinate all learning and development functions for operational excellence and the Company's service standards for their various portfolios around South Africa.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and Plan annual individual restaurant training plans with Operations and General managersCollate and submit annual Mandatory and Discretionary Grant Applications (Workplace Skills Plan and Annual training report) with CathssetaCoordinate the consultative EE and Training CommitteesCompile and submit annual EE ReportPrepare and assist with the Annual BBBEE AuditManage and Maintain Accreditation with various quality assurance bodiesFacilitate accreditations for new programmes as the need arisesMaintain the day to day running and accreditation of the Culinary SchoolDevelop individual development plans for staff for the purposes of career development and succession planningEnsure proactive participation in all learning programmesDevelop and execute strategies to ensure that all learning programmes are completed within the relevant timeframesSource, coordinate and/or create effective and relevant training interventions to assist staff in meeting their development goalsMaintain efficient and accurate training recordsRegularly consult with restaurant GMs and operations managers to adapt training strategies as needed so as to keep training current and relevantCoordinate training interventions with service providers and suppliersCoordinate trainees and learners from various FET colleges and Government/SETA Youth ProgrammesFacilitate and roll out various training interventions at all levelsCreate and develop or update existing training materials and coursesOversee and maintain monthly training calendarsTraining needs analysis – Identify knowledge and skills gaps and implement training solutions to close the gapsConduct Induction for new staffCoordinate various development programmes (MDP, ADP, Jnr Sous Chef and Jnr FOH management programmes)Manage Assessments and Moderations for accredited programmesAssist with Tender processes and special projects as they ariseQuality management controls for learning and development as well as product offeringDesired Experience & QualificationGrade 12 essentialRecognised Human Resources/Learning and Development qualification would be advantageous3-5 years' relevant experience in a similar position essential.Proficient in MS Office essential – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and emailWritten communication: read, interpret and write routine reports, agreements & correspondenceDesign and develop curriculum, training materials and assessmentsProblem solvingFacilitation on various levelsPackage & RemunerationR24 000 negotiable Cost to CompanyMedical Aid compulsoryPLEASE EMAIL YOUR CV TO: ******#J-18808-Ljbffr
