Tractor Technician - Piketberg, Western Cape Our client is seeking a skilled Tractor Technician to play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing tractors within their business.   Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of tractors to ensure optimal performance in the field. Utilize your diagnostic skills to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, ensuring quick and efficient resolutions. Conduct thorough inspections on tractors to assess and address potential problems before they escalate. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repairs, keeping track of service history and parts inventory. Work closely with other technicians and agricultural professionals to share knowledge and enhance overall equipment performance. Provide training and support to tractor operators, imparting essential knowledge on proper usage and routine checks. Ensure that all maintenance and repair activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.   Requirements and Skills: Proven experience as a Tractor Technician or in a similar role within the agricultural sector. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and rectify issues efficiently. In-depth knowledge of tractor systems, hydraulics, and electrical components. Relevant certifications or training in tractor maintenance and repair. Genuine interest in and understanding of agricultural practices and machinery. Clear communication skills to interact effectively with team members and operators.
