Hire Resolve's client, a reputable food production company, is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join their team. As the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations of the food production facility, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and implementing best practices for quality control and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize the technical aspects of all food production processesEnsure compliance with food safety and quality regulationsImplement and maintain quality control procedures and standardsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and cost reductionCoordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve production efficiencyProvide technical expertise and support to the production teamEnsure the maintenance and calibration of production equipmentManage a team of technical staff, providing guidance and mentoring
Requirements
BMinimum BSc(Hons)in food Science or similarFood Hygiene Training- Level 3 minimumHACCP -Intermediate/AdvancedMinimum of 10 Years' experience in a similar role in FMCGRetort and export customers experience essentialMust have extensive knowledge and experience in Food safety System Audits(BRC&UK-IBL Audit requirements)Allergen ManagementLead AuditorWW and/or M&S Customer Procedures/Audit experience
