Talent AcquisitionSpecialist Reports to: Human Resources Business Partner
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: To manage and coordinate the recruitment process for the stipulated departments as well as administer exit interviews.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: Matric or equivalentHR Qualification (Degree/Diploma)Minimum 4-7 years recruitment and selection experienceValid Driver's LicenseJOB REQUIREMENTS & OTHER ATTRIBUTES: Computer literate (MS Office, outlook and internet)Sound knowledge of labour legislationINTERNAL CLIENTS: All StaffManagementEXTERNAL CLIENTS: ClientsCandidatesTechnikons / CollegesRefereesDUTIES: Check that Employment Requisition is correctly completed and assist managers in completing if necessaryCompile a detailed job description based on the completed staff requisitionComplete internal and/or external advert from detailed job descriptionPlace ads in appropriate media and on notice boardsPeruse CV's & identify candidates with relevant experience/backgroundDo telephonic interviews if applicableSet up interviews with candidates who meet job requirementsConduct competency-based interviews & compile a shortlistConduct criminal checks and reference checks on successful candidatesInterview shortlisted candidates in conjunction with Line ManagementDiscuss the top competencies and successful candidate with the Line ManagerPrepare an offer letter to the successful candidateSend regret letters to unsuccessful candidatesCompile engagement paperwork for successful candidate including and not limited to: Employment Contract, Annexure A and B and Personal Information formsComplete weekly recruitment reportRe-employments:Obtain the application form accompanied by a motivational letter from candidateAcquire previous employment details including disciplinary and attendance recordsObtain a written reference and motivation from previous managerContinue with the relevant recruitment process including all checksUpon receipt of all details / documents send file for approval of Line Manager, HR ManagerPrepare offer letter for successful candidate.Exit Interviews:Conduct exit interviews pertaining to resignations for the relevant departmentsEnsure that exit interviews are conducted within 48 hours of receiving the resignation documentsAdministration:Advise on HR policies and proceduresAd-hoc duties as and when requiredCompetencies (Technical & Behavioral)ApproachabilityComfort around higher managersCustomer focusEthics and valuesHiring and staffingInterpersonal savvyListeningOrganizingPlanningProcess ManagementSizing people upTime managementDrive for resultsPERFORMANCE STANDARDS: Ensure that the recruitment process is complete within 60 days of receiving a completed/signed requisitionEnsure that the job description is completed in line with the requirements as set out by the Line Manager / HODEnsure that the internal/external advert run simultaneously for 1 weekEnsure that criminal checks and reference checks are completed prior to the candidate being made the Offer of EmploymentEnsure that contract and Annexure B corresponds with the approved Employee Requisition and documents are sent through to payroll timeouslyEnsure that the recruitment report is updated showing all vacancies in the relevant departmentsWe reserve the right not to make an appointment to any advertised position.
