As a Supply Chain Manager, you receive meaningful responsibilities from day 1. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing and managing the flow of goods and services within the organization's supply chain. You will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and vendor relationships, to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products. You will also oversee maintaining and expanding a long-term partnership with customers by continuously proposing solutions and plans that meet their supply chain objectives. To do so, you'll develop a keen sense of understanding of products, categories, manufacturing, and planning processes. While building the master plans for your customers along with your organization, you will develop people & stake holder management, Joint business planning & Value creation skills as you are responsible for your client's Supply Chain from A-Z.
Your team This role reports to Supply Chain Director who is responsible for all modern retail & distributor customers.
What success looks like Superior Value Creation: • Work with the customer to identify efficiency ideas and executes them effectively.
• Create project list that mutually benefits us and the customer
• Demonstrate stewardship across all key action areas – business and fundamentals reporting.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the supply chain operations, aligning with organizational goals and objectives. This includes forecasting demand, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Joint Business Planning • Alignment of Joint forecasting sessions and review of ordering patterns and Inventory management
• Manage and Understand Trade Terms, Annual refresher for all customers
• Build Distributor Capabilities
• Customer Collaboration on Quarterly Business Planning
Logistics Coordination Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure the smooth flow of goods throughout the supply chain. Optimize logistics processes to minimize transportation costs and improve delivery timesIdentify potential risks and disruptions within the supply chain, such as supplier shortages, transportation delays, or natural disasters, and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks. Ensure business continuity and resilience in the face of supply chain disruptions.Performance Monitoring and Analysis Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of the supply chain operations and identify areas for improvement. Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for optimizationCustomer Relationship Management: • Weekly & monthly drumbeats with Customer Supply Chain representatives to track aligned KPIs.
• Conduct quarterly Top to Top with the customer Supply Chain Leadership
• Understand and lead your accounts to top 3 in advantage monitor survey
• Timely resolution of all customers related pain points in Supply Chain
• Conduct Annual VSMs with the customers to agree on the ideal and future state
• Effective communication with the counter parts on day-to-day Order and Shipment updates
Organization • Understand skill gap of his team and coach them on identified opportunities.
• Personal Mastery of Basic Sales and Supply Skills Framework.
• Establish understand of customer decision making and work processes via account penetration and influence
• Lead or support Supply Chain special projects.
