Main purpose:The stock controller will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks allocated to them in the assigned department as per company needs. They will strive to achieve production output, meet demands, and perform other duties as assigned to alleviate bottlenecks in the various factory departments.Responsibilities:To do counts to ensure the accuracy of stock levels on SAP against physical count.Understand and support all store operations, policies and procedures.To report any stock issues to the store manager.Assist with the stock control of Omnigo's stores and the MOQ stores ( Customer stock ).Moving slow-moving items (SMl) to redundant stock boxes and assisting in control of the SMl stock.Ensure all scrap, partial, and contingency units are moved out of WIP upon completion of projects and stored in the appropriate locations.Understand and support Omnigo operations, policies and procedures.To keep your workspace and stock areas clean and tidy.Assist other stores' operations and processes to improve the general output and stock accuracy.To maintain acceptable levels of safety in terms of the HOSA requirements.Ensure electrostatic procedures are adhered to.To maintain a silent environment while kitting is in progress.To ensure that machinery and equipment are handled with care.To maintain a good communication manner with all internal employees.To obey all legal instructions given to you by the store's manager and other management.Maintain discipline regarding timekeeping, work ethics, and standards.Perform reasonable duties that may arise from day to day or that may be required by the store's manager.Required minimum qualifications:MatricRequired minimum experience:3 – 5+ years of relevant experienceSkills and competencies:Have a good knowledge of Excel.Have basic component knowledge.Applicant must be computer literate.An accurate, meticulous figure-orientated person.A self-motivated, career focussed person.A person that can deal with stress in a healthy and productive way.A person that knows when to ask for help.A problem solver.A person who knows how to liaise with his/her colleagues to get the necessary co-operation or information.SAP experience will be advantageous.
