Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Training Manager specializing in waitron and barmen, who is dedicated to enhancing the skills and knowledge of our front-of-house staff to deliver unparalleled service and customer satisfaction. Responsbilities: Design and implement comprehensive training programs for waitstaff and bartenders, covering service techniques, product knowledge, customer interaction, and company policies. Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing refresher courses for existing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Develop training materials, including manuals, presentations, and interactive modules, to support training initiatives. Assess training needs through performance evaluations and feedback from customers, managers, and staff members. Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback to address areas for improvement. Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced customer satisfaction. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in hospitality training to continually improve training programs. Maintain training records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training software/tools. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Human Resources, or related field preferred. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment. Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, CPLP) is a plus. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms preferred. Experience in designing and delivering training programs tailored to adult learners. Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine and cocktail service. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate training schedules. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in staff training and development, preferably in the hospitality industry.
