Job summaryThe Software Quality Assurance Intern will be crucial in maintaining high-quality software products through testing both new features and existing functionalities, creating documentation, managing tasks, and collecting user feedback.ResponsibilitiesTesting new featuresPerform comprehensive testing on new software features to ensure they meet our quality standardsEngage in performance, functional, and validation testingTesting existing functionalitiesRegularly test existing software functionalities to identify and document any bugs or issuesUtilize exploratory and randomized testing methods to uncover potential unseen issuesDocumentationCreate user-friendly documentation for our SecureOffice (SO) knowledge baseDevelop guides, how-tos, and FAQs that are easily accessible through icons within the SO interfaceTaskmanagement assistanceMonitor and follow up on idle tasks to ensure project progress and deadline adherenceHelp coordinate tasks and maintain an organized workflow within projectsScoping and wire-framingAssist in the scoping of new modules or modifications to existing onesParticipate in wire-framing processes to help define software enhancement requirements and designsUser feedback collectionProactively collect user feedback on modules or changes in trial or recently releasedAnalyze feedback to identify improvement opportunities for future developmentRequirementsEnrolment in or recent graduation from a program in computer science, information technology, or related fieldBasic understanding of software development and quality assurance principlesEmployment will be implemented in accordance with the Employment Equity Act.Only Applicants considered for the role will be contacted.Closing date: 08th April 2024Should you wish to apply, please forward the online application process.
