Software Engineer, Marketing Cloud

Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30
To apply computer science theories, principals to create, refactor moderate to complex programs/scripts, integration software services. To design complex specifications, code, test, debug, enhance programs within the Continuous delivery pipelines and provide support, maintenance of systems, programmes. To execute software developer responsibilities according to Engineer practice, standards, frameworks, roadmaps and the architects application standards. Participate in reviews of colleagues' work.
Qualifications
Qualifications: A Degree in Information TechnologyBSc Comp Science, B.Com Informatics.Certificate in a programming language or cloud computing.Skills: HTML 4 / 5 PROGAMMINGSQLGOOGLE ADS and ANALYTICSExperience Broad experience in translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications and developing the programming code to create the solutions.Proven experience in modern engineering practices i.e. dev ops, agile etc., Proven experience across multiple, broad IT Engineering disciplines, with demonstrated specialisation in at least one. Experience within the required scope of expertise.3-5years Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.Should also have Digital Marketing and Analytics knowledge.(AMPScript) experiencewill be a bonus for this role. Additional Information Key Responsibilities: Develop fully functional applications across all platforms that are in line with current technologies and standards and publish them to the relevant platform to enhance the functioning and experience of employees.Develop specifications that support the design, coding, building, assembling, configuring, implementation, testing, data conversion as well as documentation and enhancements for the team and users of solutions.Adopt and adhere to suitable and agreed development methodologies and principles through work outputs and behaviours that enables continuous delivery and development across the production environment as well as ensuring effective collaboration with all colleagues and stakeholders in order to meet required targets and therefore deliver value to the customer.Produce specifications for systems functions, information flows, data loads, implementation strategy, phasing of development, requirements not met and alternatives considered.Construct, interpret and execute moderate to complex end to end system and program tests to verify correct operation of completed systems
