About the Role As a Software Engineer, you'll perform complex research, design, and software assignments. Providing input to project plans, scheduling and methodology, you'll be developing cross-functional software products. You'll be working on individual tasks and solving problems.
Responsibilities · Interfacing with other personnel or team members to finalize requirements
· Completing complex bug fixes, and resolving technical issues
· Implementing development processes, coding best practices and code reviews
· Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders
· Training entry-level engineers, ensuring that they are knowledgeable in critical aspects of their roles
· Designing and working with complex data models
Requirements · Have a BS degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
· Have substantial Software Development experience
· Have an excellent understanding of data modelling principles, data manipulation languages and storage systems
· Have the ability to work well with internal and external technology resources
· Have good knowledge of test-driven development
· Have an advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
