The companys entire line of Software Developer is developed in-house on new tech, by shiny happy people.Youll need: A large amount of awesome8+ years of relevant development experienceA good grasp of C#, T-SQL, HTML5, JavaScript, Single Page Applications (SPAs), NHibernate, Entity framework, Web Services, Message Queues, CSS, XML/JSON, GIT, SSIS, ETLGood database understandingExposure to financial transaction processing systems is a mustIntegration of a transaction processing system with third-party systems such as other transaction processing systems, premium calculation modules, accounting systems (SYSPRO)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience within the short-term insurance industry is a mustA relevant IT degree or diplomaExcellent communication skillsYour responsibilities will be (but arent limited to): Being the person your dog thinks you areParticipating in all SCRUM ceremoniesDeveloping new features/processes within the Financial streamPerforming code reviews to ensure application meets development standardsMaintaining and deploying development environments for your squadEnsure automated unit/integration tests are developed and executed as part of the CI/CD processSystem supportSystem maintenance and defect resolutionClosely collaborating with the test analyst, to verify and resolve defectsWorking with external development teams to deliver new application functionalityParticipating in roll-outs and go-live activities
