The role includes installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizingallnew and existing software that is used to host applications and static content.

The role is also responsible for high level database administration and related tasks on multiple RDBMS platforms with emphasis on Oracle 11g.
There is also interface with various specialist groups - Operating system support, Network support, Data Centre Security Support, core database administrators to support the platform

You will also support First and Second layer application support

You will be part of a team of diverse skills that keep the enterprise portal landscape system running 24/7 and optimised for the client current workload.

Senior Role

Exposure to Wide range of Database Technologies Oracle, Postgress, MySQL (Mongo DB, SQL-Server, Berkley).
Install, configure, maintenance and database turning, statement optimisation and running queries.
Exposure to Web Servers e.g. Oracle Http Server, Apache and HTTPD.
Nginx will be an advantage
Install, tuning, adding rewrite rules, adding virtual hosts and automated log rotation.
Oracle WebLogic Server Knowledge.
Exposure to DevOps methodology and tools (Jenkins, Git, Nexus, SonarQube, Docker, Podman)
Install, Configuration, Connection setups and tuning.
Knowledge of Backup and Restore Concepts and the ability to co-ordinate the team running with these.
Application development insight using DevOps, Website Hosting, Load Balancer concepts , Caching knowledge, Networking, ITIL, Linux/Unix Operating systems solution design, and Scripting.
The ability to evaluate, test and implement new tools as and when needed DevOps CMT
Experience in enterprise scale environment
