Participate in first-line inspections to determine final SOWPlan and interpret project requirements after receipt of production order (data package) in order to achieve objectives effectively.Compile spares list needed for assignment to ensure SOW can be fulfilled. Stock control of tools and working equipment to ensure availability and in working condition.Ensure all safety regulations and site safety file requirements are applied on the job to ensure the wellbeing of Howden workers.Ensure all quality systems, procedures and documentation are in place, up to date and adhered to on the job to ensure quality of workmanshipPlan and organise daily activities per bar chart to ensure the progress in SOW is monitored and controlled.Deputise (when necessary) for the Site Manager at Customer meetings to report on progress.Expedite receipt of spares and equipment delivered to site to control Howden inventoryCheck and endorse timesheets as per attendance register to enable the Client to sign-offShift handover compliance of Sups, QC's, SO and SM to ensure continuity on all fronts.Perform welding or mechanical Supervision duties on siteDevelop QCP from repair procedure and make up data booksVerify and uphold welding qualificationsCoordinate welding or mechanical activity's to and from siteAudit and scan data books return from site safe to serverWhat do you need to bring?Matric/Grade 12N3 qualification or higher.Trade tested and qualified FitterLevel 1 welding fabrication inspector certificateKnowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and MS Project.3 years in a maintenance supervisory capacity.Knowledge of NEC 3 contractValid Driver's licence.Candidates must be Local to the Lephalale areaAbout us:Worldwide business – Liaise with our colleagues in 27 countries.We offer global and local opportunities– 6000 employees and world leading engineers, who create cutting edge developments – You will be a part of over 160 years of innovation and development that continues today with our digital solutions.
