Senior Tax Consultant / Accountant

Salary:The salary will be market related taking into consideration the candidate's qualifications,number of years of experience and salary expectationJob Summary:We are seeking a Senior Tax Consultant / Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidatewill provide tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to clients. He/She will be responsible forpreparing and analysing financial statements and tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws andregulations. They will work closely with internal teams, and external stakeholders to optimize taxstrategies and minimize tax liabilities. The ideal candidate must have 3 - 5 years' experience in anaccounting firm.Job Responsibilities:Manage full accounting and tax function portfolio.Produce monthly management reports.Full accounting function to trial balance.Drafting of annual financial statements for companies, trusts, and sole proprietors on CaseWare.Provide advice on all tax and accounting matters.Must have experience with e-filing.Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Prepare and submit income tax returns for individuals and companies, VAT returns for soleproprietors,companies and trusts.Prepare VAT returns for sole proprietors, companies, and trusts.Competent to attend to all SARS correspondence.Filing of notices of objections, and suspension of debt on e-filing.Conduct themselves in a professional manner.Must be willing to travel to clients.Minimum Requirements:Accounting Degree or Higher Diploma.
