Senior Paraplanner

Our client, a market leader in the Financial Services sector, is looking for a Senior Paraplanner, based on Cape Town The main purpose of this role is to provide key support to a Financial Planner through professional, in-depth research and preparation of best practice solutions for client wealth creation and holistic financial well-being
Duties and Responsibilities: Preparation of Records of Advice for both Local and Offshore Investments and Long-Term AssurancePreparation of Financial Plans (Death, Disability, Retirement and Estate)Investment Portfolio and underlying Fund Investigations and formulating of ideas for recommendationsClient portfolio investigations (both investment and risk products)Keeping abreast of the changing tax and legal environmentInvestigation of new opportunities in an ever-changing environment Assist administrators, clients and financial planners with more technical tasks and relevant queries that require investigations or detailed calculationsClient communication and follow-up regarding all areas of the Paraplanners responsibilityEducation and Experience: Postgraduate Diploma in Financial PlanningFPI Competency ExamMinimum 2 years' experience in Financial PlanningBroad knowledge of global financial markets advantageousKnowledge and Skills: Detailed and accurateAbility to work under pressureExcellent administrative, research, report writing and communication skillsExcellent analytical skills with a preference for working in a structured, planned mannerTeam playerExcellent inter-personal skills, both written and verbal#J-18808-Ljbffr
