Job title: Senior Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer Location: Warrington (Hybrid 3 days a week in the of` fice) Contract position: 12 months inside IR35 As a Senior E, C & I Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical construction expertise and input into project gated process activities, constructability programme, risk management exercises and ensuring the outputs are embedded in the construction work scope and strategies.
Responsibilities of Senior E, C & I include: Ensuring design is produced in line with required Regulatory, Customer and Company standardsDelivery, supervision, and verification of EC&I related engineering design deliverables to cost, schedule and qualityOverseeing team progressing and reportingInterface co-ordination with other engineering disciplinesIdentifying discipline resource needs and supporting in the recruitment processEnsuring design change and configuration is effectively managedOverall management and coordination of EC&I team on the projectThe identification of changes in the scope of work and ensuring that appropriate change requests are implementedThe successful candidate will have: Previous experience of working within existing sites is highly desirable though not essential providing that suitable similar experience can be demonstratedThe candidate shall ideally have experience in a similar role and should ideally be an Incorporated/Chartered Engineer or be working towards gaining professional status. However, experience at all levels will be consideredProduce and maintain key deliverable documents/reports, calculations, schedules, etc. to programme and of appropriate qualityLiaise and coordinate with other design disciplines and plant engineering as necessary in the production of preliminary and detail design deliverablesSupport the CE&I design team in meetings and reviewsDesign in accordance with the IET 18th edition (BS7671) ideallyConversant with existing CAE tools (e.g. Auto CAD, CAESAR, PDMS).BPSS security clearance will be required for the role.
