Senior Control System Engineer

The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the job as summarised below, but not limited to:
Execute the control system engineering on EPC and EPCM projects. Work with minimal supervision in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Adhere to the project schedule and implement the control system design to complete a project within the allocated budget. Liaise with other engineering disciplines and other departments to ensure alignment. Liaise with clients and vendors to ensure alignment. The candidate must be in possession of at least a BSc / B.Eng. degree and ideally registered as a Certified Functional Safety Expert / Professional. The candidate would also be required as a professional engineer with ECSA within one year of starting with the company.
The candidate must be experienced in the following fields:
15 years control system and safety system engineering and design experience in the Oil & Gas environment Knowledge of and understanding of SABS / IEC standards. The ability to interpret MFDs and P&IDs.
